Attendance is open to all health professionals across relevant disciplines, including trainees. We welcome nurses, allied health professionals, medical educators and students. Meeting capacity may be limited in the near future.

Meetings are scheduled 3-4 times a year via Zoom. There may be occasional in person/hybrid meetings.

Cases/topics are chosen based on educational value but supported by feedback nominations from participants. Feel free to email us with suggestions.

To qualify for the highly sought after "Clinical Audit" CPD points, attendees must complete the pre-meeting survey PRIOR to the meeting AND attend the meeting. Attendance of the meeting without completion of the survey beforehand still allows attendees to claim it as a CME meeting attendance. Unfortunately, completion of the survey alone without attendance of the meeting does not allow one to obtain any CPD points.

Meetings will be recorded for educational purposes. Please note that any opinions or views shared during ADVANCE are not to replace existing guidelines or protocols that exist. 

Please feel free to extend the meeting invite to colleagues and trainees who are interested in attending. 

A summary of the survey results, discussions and literature review will be documented and compiled into a summary booklet and published on this website within 3- weeks post meeting. This can be uploaded as CPD evidence. 

Recommendations or conclusions drawn from meetings are intended to support, not replace clinical or professional judgement or guidelines that exist.
